Description:

PWSteal.Rivarts has the capability to steal bank account and confidential information on the infected computer, then sends it to an attacker.

 

This trojan also gathers SSL web certificates and can hijack a browser connection.

MANUAL REMOVAL:

1. Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP). [how to]

3. Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected.

Navigate to the subkey and delete value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Value: "Zsys" = "%System%\Zsys.exe"

Navigate to and delete the subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\mchInjDrv
